Thanks for the all the wishes.

Thanks mom for the Swensen's treat (Dad had to work so I had lunch with my mom).

Thanks for the formal shirt and Adidas suit.

Coaching yesterday was almost a disaster. Luckily I grabbed hold of the situation and made sure everything went well and safe. The tide yesterday reached to 3.2 metres and the waves were freaking strong. 78 sec 3 students from Loyang Sec divided into 2 groups and had a briefing by me and my instructors. We divided further into 3 sub groups for more detailed orientation to kayaking. Once they were done with the introduction and basics of paddling, we did a water confidence test before letting them launch off by themselves and form a raft somewhere near the PUB-T yellow buoy.

But to my amazement, everyone was going everywhere! All the basics we instructors taught them were forgotten. I paddled up to get the better students to form a raft while I attend to the "lost sheeps". All this happened while my instructors Jon and Ah Guan were busy helping the last 2 kayaks to embark from the shore. Hell broke loose, and one by one the lost sheeps start to capsize! I had to rescue one at a time as I was the only instructor out at sea. By the time I rescued the 'lost and capsized sheeps'(LOLs), the raft that i instructed began to drift too close to the mangrove swamp and I shouted as loud as I could for them to break raft and paddle up to their original position again.

Finally Ah Guan and Jon went up to assist me and get all of them to raft up again at the yellow buoy. The students did a freaking cool kayak wave before we told them to head back to shore. Luck wasnt by our side, on the way back a lot of kayaks capsized and to make things worse,a big ship sailed past us and made HUGE WAVES to make rescuing a very difficult task for us instructors. I would also like to credit a couple of students, Arifah and her partner(forgot his name uh),for assisting me in rescuing their friends who capsized. As it was a leadership camp for them and kayaking is one of the itinery,if there wld be any leadership role to be taken up in future, she n her partner deserves it. Their help was prompt and given without any complaints. Kudos to the both of u aite.

After all the kayaking, we let the students send all their kayaks and paddles back to the store area for washing before carrying them back into the store. Had a debrief with the school stuff and my colleague before getting our pay after washing up and dismiss ourselves. Then I went to Harbourfront to meet Bruce and Siswand and accompanied them to Mt Faber Bistro as Bruce needs to do a food review for his school project. He ate his pasta while Siswand and I had ice cream. Took some pics there and went down to Seah Im food court opposite H.bourfront Ctre to have dinner. We chatted a while n went home by train. I swear I was so shagged ytd,I slept on the train la!

Right now I just came back from my soccer training and waiting for 3pm to meet my gang. What event this time?

FAMILY INTERNATIONAL BUFFET!!

Nur Fiqah Natasha

Iqah with my mom, waiting for school bus

That's my niece. She's gonna stay over at my home till she's primary 3. My family will be taking care of her before and after school whereby my aunt and uncle will take turns to send her and fetch her to and from home. Sounds like I have a new company,I feel like I have a sister now huh. Nonetheless, I'm having fun teaching her primary 1 stuff. Oh,she's in Punggol Primary now.Heh.

I found a similar photo of me and my mom too, when I was young then

I was in Madrasah Abdul Aleem Siddique

Another update...

Midland Wolves FC [Founded 2007]

Just an update, my current soccer team Midland Wolves had our first official match last Sunday at Pei Hwa Sec. We lost 4-2 to the Stallions and learned many good and bad experiences from it. Hopefully our second match this coming Sunday at North Vista Sec will be a fruitful one. Go Wolves!

Anyway,Sebas showed me this ventriloquist Jeff Dunham doing Achmed, the Dead Terrorist. I laughed my ass off this one. Watch it if you don't believe.

I will be coaching kayaking for secondary school kids this coming Saturday at Pasir Ris. Come at noon to see me,Ah Guan and Jon in action. We'll be the instructors for the day. Those interested in learning kayaking, u may contact either of us aite.

Lastly,I managed to get our gang chalet candid video. Bored Zuli took my handphone and started recording the guys sleeping. I pity Wawan at the end, haha.

That's all for now.

It's been a while since I blogged.

Last Thursday morning was the scariest incident that ever happened to me. Pls don't attempt to ask me what happened. I'll only disclose to my close friends. Anyway, you may wanna extend your prayers for me. I'm hoping for the best.

If u guys have read the New Paper two days ago about this 19yr old student who crashed his father's Lancer at Mandai,he happens to be my coursemate. Two cars were involved in the accident and an 18yr old(waiting for his O level results) passed away on the way to the hospital. Pirakaash, we're all behind you man. Thank God you're fine. Please stay strong, alright. I'll pray for the best for you bro.

A strong message to you people out there. Please drive safely. You'll never know what fate has in store for you.

What an untimely moment to be sick these days.

I'm finally down with flu.
I'm finally down with fever.
I'm finally caught up by fatique.

BUT

I have soccer training tomorrow at Fernvale.
I have my weekly badminton on Sunday morning.
I have a match on Sunday afternoon at Pei Hwa Sec.

This is not fun man. Been skipping classes, which is so unlike me last time. To my classmates who are wondering why I was acting strange lately, it's ok guys, I was just tired...

Just look at me today,omg..

See? I'm really tired...

Tired with 2 things:

First: Literally tired from all the activities that i've been going through, hoping to do a bit less and concentrate on my studies instead.

Second: Tired of keeping up with some people's disturbing attitudes. I will not disclose further what exactly happened, because I don't want to get any more sick than now, heh.

And I realise, the Musibats will be separated one day. Siswand's in Tekong. Mubarak's going to Tekong, and Bruce will be flying off to Thailand. Life's gonna change without them around. Hopefully the first half of this year will pass by real quick. Well at least there's my bro Hazwan around, who will be going to SIM to further his studies after his ORD.

To Hazwan: Bro,sorry for not being able to come down for badminton tonight
To Atikah: Beb,sorry for not replying ur smses,I wasn't in the mood at that time
To Siswand: Take care in Tekong, man, Orion Company is slack ah..
To Zuli: I will crash Ngee Ann one day, will let u know again
To Noraini: Now every Saturday u can see boys in yellow playing soccer just outside ur window! Fernvale will never be quiet anymore.
To Bruce: Send me more of Gaki No Tsukai whenever ure free
To Wahyudin: Badminton this sunday as usual

& to Hafiz: I wonder when u will finally wake up and realise that it's not cool to leave us behind once u've found something new. Do what u want,it's your life anyway, who are we to you now, right?

My frequent jogging routine round the neighbourhood will commence. I miss those times I start jogging as early as 6am in the morning, from Pelangi Home to Fernvale Primary, then back home via Gerald Drive and Buangkok, all the while with my mp3 on full blast. I will start tomorrow morning,if I feel better.

I guess I shall stop blogging for the time being. Gonna be away for some time. Don't miss me yea.

Till then,

UBIN + BEACH ROAD

At the jetty - Me and Siswand

Me and Bruce

His bike broke down along the way - Look at his SIAN face lol

Me fixing Bruce's derailed chain

We cycled...

...and cycled

FINALLY - Entrance to Chek Java

Macam Bujang Lapok dok..

How far would u go just to get good handphone reception?

Bruce..he thinks he's HOT.....NOT!

Siswand

View from the tower

Me n Bruce - So called the East-Point of Ubin

o.O Are u seeing what i'm seeing?!

Chek Java

My million dollar expression - bcos my ass was burning!

Makel and Manjen

The savoury begins...

One word - SINFUL

2 guys 1 cup LOL

Met up with Siswand and Bruce at Hougang interchange and went over to Changi Point for breakfast and stock up. Took bumboat to ubin and rented our bikes. We started cycling at arnd 11am. I suggested going to Chek Java area, hoping that I can conquer it with my off-road riding skills. But it didn't turn out well,i'll state why later.

Took pictures along the way,Bruce's having problems with his bike seat and Siswand's struggling with his gearing. Well,my bike was in good condition as I checked it thoroughly beforehand. Upon reaching Chek Java entrance, saw this sign "Please park your bike and travel in on foot-By order". WAH! All my hopes were gone man! So nvm, we parked out bikes and went in on foot anyway,I was thinking of just cycling in but there will be rangers inside,so I'd rather save all the trouble. We went up this newly built tower which enables us to view the whole of Ubin(not all of Ubin la,but most of it). Siswand was 'excited' to see his future campsite in Tekong, Army recruit camp school 2,direct from the tower! Apparently Bruce at that period of time was struggling with the mosquitos. No one told him to be a smart-ass and cycle around Ubin TOPLESS + WITHOUT MOZZIE REPELLANT! What a dumb move, hahaha!

Next,we went to the coastal boardwalk and walked around the whole perimeter of Chek Java. We were amazed by the natural landscape we saw. Time check,12.45pm, Hazwan and Atikah were waiting for us at Changi Point,so we zoomed back to the jetty after returning our bikes. We drove from Changi to Beach Road to enjoy our much awaited SUP TULANG + BELGIAN CHOCOLATE FONDUUUUUUUEEEE~! I ate quite a lot today but it's okay,I will shake it all off tomorrow during badminton! Well let the pics share the story aite...

School's started and I got my common test results. Did ok for marketing and biomaterials but for thermoluids? Don't ask,please.Haha. I hope it will it's not too late to buck up. Will spend less time doing unnecessary things. hopefully this year will be a better year for me. A lot of shitty things happened in 2007. Not to forget, 5th January 2007 was the day THEEBAN KUMAR stole my beloved W850i handphone. Haha. Well,i'm cool. He'll beg for my forgiveness on judgement day.Mom bought me another W850i on 29th Jan 2007 for my 18th birthday though, hehe.

It's been a year of a lot of nice things too. I got my driving license(most importantly), lost weight and got my first tuition student(no problem ayu, i'll be glad to coach you). I'll dig up my old notes and textbooks and revise so I can strengthen my foundation as well.

Alright, gotta log off already, tml's Ubin outing and chocolate fondue at beach road! Cya!
