Sad to say, our gang kinda lost one member. He's been with us for 6 years and counting. He's found a new source of happiness, tried to give excuses to miss our outings, so we guess, that's it. If u dun wanna hang out with us anymore, just say it. Dun have to take the trouble to crack your brains and think of nice2 stories to back up your selfishness, alright.
Example: "Mon to Fri i got school ah,Sat my badminton day n its fixed,Sunday going out with dunno who" (I mean, what's next? "Oh my cat gives birth every Public Holiday") We are disappointed. R.I.P,man. We won't miss you. ;)
Enough of losers, let's get back to our normal lives shall we? Well ytd we(Me,Siswand,Hazwan)went to the drift show at Expo. I am too speechless to blog about it.Super exhilarating, man! Kinda lazy to upload the pics, will do so if i have the time.We ended off the day with lunch at East Point Banquet.
Anw today had a gang meetup at Harbourfront banquet. Ate and slacked with them and the guys went for solat at the nearby Mosque. Came back, took some pics and i had to go off early,so sorry guys, it was an IMPORTANT appointment i can't afford to miss, hahaha!
The people present: Me Hazwan Atikah Siswand Zuli Noraini Amridillo Farhan
P.S; Ayu,i'm still trying to get my Xinmin yearbook.Bear with me,k.
"It's not always about what you get, but what you give" - forgot who said this
But I find this quote so true. One has to sometimes put his ego aside and begin to understand other people better. For example, in a relationship. It's a give and take affair. If both parties understand and respect each other, Insyallah the relationship will last long, accompanied by many would called it,jodoh, or 'fate' in other words. If you're meant to be, you're meant to be.
I've been in failed relationships before, be it partly my fault or totally my fault,i've learnt my lessons.I'd vow never to commit any mistakes in my future relationship,Insyallah.
The current events that happened in my life made me closer to God, appreciate His greatness, and realising the importance of patience. It was something I lack in the past, but I hope I have improved on it now. Been sharing thoughts with a few of my close friends. Many had the same problems as me,and each of us have our learning points.
What's meant to be,is meant to be,right?
Be gentleman and pack up n leave once u know she doesnt appreciate you any more. That's what I keep in mind. Do not ever resort to revenge or whatsoever,it's not healthy. (Altho i've experienced the pain of being backstabbed in broad daylight)
To be frank, what I look for in a relationship, is a long term affair. If you're in for some short-term hanky panky, jollywell buzz off. I'd give my best in giving the care and concern the other party needs. (I can't continue this part as it will get personal, haha. Ask me personally and i will continue)
Diamond is more valuable the deeper in the earth it is found. To those who are waiting for their love to be mutual, patience is a virtue. The wait is as worth as digging deeper into the earth and Insyallah, find your long-awaited diamond.
So,in short, all u lovebirds out there, cherish your loved ones before it's too late. Forego your ego, be patient and understand each other.
From the moment I saw u,i've fallen for u. You may not see it coming, but I hope to let u know that i admire u,and it's hard to find another with the same character as you. I don't really get to talk to u often, but I hope u know that you are dearly missed.. From the sincere bottom of my heart, i'll inscribe your name, paint your picture, and remember your smile..I'm glad i've met you My 2 cents worth, that's all for now.
All I know that school's gonna start in one and half weeks time.Time to hit the notes, and make an effort to improve on my weaknesses.I have been enjoying a lot of outings lately, and yet the memories of chalet is still vivid in my mind. Next chalet will be soon I guess, and more thonning sessions here and there, and our gang doesnt have to worry about transportation problems anymore ;) Team Hazvok will always be there for u guys. (screw the public transport)
Two more planned outings pending, this sunday and 5th Jan. Details will be SMSed to u guys soon, aite.
New bg song, EMPTY by The Click Five. I can listen to it 999 times a day and never get bored.
Reason? Many Singaporeans are turning into boycotting the move of fare hikes in public transports. The increase in bus and train fares is bad enough, let alone those taxis.
ComfortDelGro earned almost $2.8 billion last year, with profits of over $300 million. Instead of sharing more of their profits with their drivers, they are upping their fares and trying to justify it by pointing to the plight of their drivers.
Reason for the hike?
Well the authorities are clever enough to give an excuse that the hike is to offset the cab driver's difficulties in dealing with the rise in fuel prices.
HELLO?! Taxis bloody run on DIESEL and DIESEL is dirt cheap compared to PETROL!
How drastic is the hike?
Flag down fare:
OLD
Normal taxi $2.40 Mercedes taxi $2.60
NEW
Normal taxi $2.50 Hyundai Sonata taxi $2.70 Mercedes taxi $2.80
Flag Down: $2.80 for 1st km* 1km to 10km: $0.2 for every 385m Above 10km: $0.2 for every 330m Waiting time: $0.2 for every 45sec
2006: Peak period surcharge from $1 to $2 2007: Peak period surcharge= $2 + 35% of meter fare Midnight surcharge = 50% of meter fare City area surcharge= From $1 to $3
Many have resorted to taking public transport.
I don't feel the pinch, becase I'm still schooling, but we have to look ahead, we WILL be working in future. If nth is done to eliminate this ridiculous move, the future will not be any better for us youths when we start to earn our own living and at start to regret at the end of the day.
The logic behind this is simple. The govt just doesn't want to take the CHEAPER alternative.
1) They could have just reduced the taxi rental to eliminate the rise in petrol prices. But by doing so, HOW CAN THE TAXI COMPANIES MAKE MONEY,RIGHT?
2) COE and ERP are bullshit. You need almost $2 000 just to get a driving license. You also need at least $14 000 just to get a piece of white paper that allows you to OWN a car. Then you need more money to BUY a car. Do you know that SGD $5000 can get you a decent Honda in Aussie?
They could have just introduced quotes and solve the problem of having too many cars on the roads. But by doing so, HOW CAN THE GOVT EARN MONEY, RIGHT?
It all comes down to, MONEY.
Not to say taxis alone, we drivers face the same problems too. PETROL fares increase to $2 per litre, ERP increae till $2.50 in town areas, cashcard parking rates are incredibly high, not to forget there are a lot of 'white aunties' (those who issue parking summons) going around so there's no way u can leave ur car at a public carpark for more than 15 mins. You'll be real unlucky if u do so.
Singapore is a small country with literally BIG dreams instead. See other countries raise here raise there, SG also wants to follow.
Need me to prove my point?
"With all these changes factored in, ComfortDelgro explained, peak-hour cab fares in Singapore are about the same as Hong Kong's but still only half that of Sydney's.
Local fares are also only about a quarter of London's." - Channel Newsasia
"Refering specifically to the current difficulty of getting cabs in the city during peak hours, ComfortDelgro's CEO (Taxi Business), Mr Yang Ban Seng, said: 'We think this fare revamp will better match supply and demand of taxis. Our aim is to try and ensure that more taxis will go to areas where they are needed most and at the times they are wanted most.'
Mr Nah Tua Bah, president of the Comfort Taxi Operators' Association, added: "The higher city area surcharge will act an an incentive for drivers to make that trip back into town."" - Comfort DelGro's excuse
Why don't they raise our salaries too?!?!?! Or reduce study fees so that we can cope with the fare hike in public transport?!?!
Alas. my hp is repaired. I have a high feeling i will be keeping it and use the money i save on something more worthwhile. Anw, I gotta tell u how hilarious my friends can be.
First victim: ZULI
Seems to be a decent student nurse?
Her bimbotic genes start to react
Full blown queen of all tortures.
Musibats, OMGIZ!

Apparently, that's how he likes his pictures taken.
First,he thinks he's William Hung...

Swimming ytd was fun! Drove over to pick them (Mas Ud,Siswand,Bruce) up and headed over to Ngee Ann poly for breakfast before heading over to Jurong East Swimming Complex. We totally enjoyed the wave pool, lazy river, and especially, THE SLIDES~! Played like small kids. I even rented a float, ok! After that, we drove over to Mustafa as Siswand wanted to buy goggles for his NS. Bought fast food there and ate in the car. We headed over to petrol station to refuel before meeting Hazwan. We played a little prank. The video shall say it all, haha! I'm super addicted to road rage, but i'm a careful driver ok. After the prank, went to Ubi to check out car accesories, then headed over to Sim Lim Square to survey for new handphone (yup im changing real soon!) before heading over to our favourite syisya hangout at Arab Street. One thing I like abt that place is there's free parking after 5pm! Ate Meshyawi, potato wedges, drank ice chocolate and ordered apple mint syisya. Slacked till 9 plus, and we headed home. Another tiring day out, but satisfying. Spent 30 plus on petrol today,omg...
I wanna go to JURONG EAST SWIMMING COMPLEX AGAIN!
Adding on..
This shall be the last time I do something nice. If you don't want to pay me back, just tell me. I'd rather be poorer by a few bucks than to see my own friend lying to me. So much for starving n sacrificing my own pocket money to cover for you, having to find out you're happily spending on a movie n buying new stuffs. Well done.
Im also thinking of quitting SEG Club. Either one of the last ones to know any cool event, or not at all. But when it comes to getting help and volunteer stuff, my hp beeps like crazy. Kudos to ya'll.
The best event in 2007 - 4E Gang ultimate thon + exclusive chalet!
sorry for not contacting u on fri nite, dear. my hp went dead and u know i miss you so... My longest post in 2007. This chalet is different from the rest because there are 2 drivers + 2 cars = No more hassle abt public transport =P
Team Aveo : Hazwan(driver) Atikah Zulianah Wahyudin Mubarak
Team Vios : Syafiq(driver) Siswand Bruce Mas Ud Hafiz
V.I.P : LeoNERD Lim,haha!
DAY 1
Woke up on friday morning only to realise that I do not need to rush for the morning bus anymore. Hehe. At 7am,drove to Hazwan's place to accompany him to the petrol station to refuel his car. Then we drove back home and he followed me to fetch Atikah and Siswand and we headed to Onan Road to get our chalet stuff. After getting the chalet stuff, we dropped atikah at Geylang market where she met her parents and bought the wet stuff for BBQ. Then we headed to Punggol to fetch Adilah to school. Sorry Adilah, I had to drive fast cos we were almost 10 mins late for lesson, haha.
Team HazVok pit stop
Biomaterial test was freaking easy, hehe. (No comments)
After school, drove back home to get some stuff before heading to Bruce's house to slack n get ready for our thonning session. At 8pm, we went to fetch Siswand and Zuli and waited for Wawan to arrive in his Aveo. Both cars headed towards Changi point to have our dinner. I went to fetch Mas Ud at White Sands taxi stand and we had to send Zuli home. On the straight road from Changi Village to Pasir Ris, Hazwan and me had a short drag race (my first ever drag session with wawan). My speed went up to 160km/h and during our battle, a BMW and a Lancer joined in to make things even more fun! Hazwan won cos he was more daring than me. The funny thing was when I stopped at the traffic light, an Indian muslim family in an old mercedes were like shouting at my car "OI! P PLATE AH!". I took it as a joke, haha. A 1-mth old P plate driver racing against a seasoned 3-yr-experienced driver at breakneck speed, who wld not find it funny?!
Time check: 12am
After sending Zuli home, We headed down to changi beach to slack. Spent a lot of time just to pitch a tent, only to realise it was freaking easy indeed to set up. Bruce K.O-ed first. He slammed in to deep sleep in the tent when the rest of us (Me Hazwan Siswand Mas Ud) were still talking. After 25 mins, we gave up.The 4 of us couldnt sleep, only Bruce was happily snoring away. So we planned on a little overnight excursion. Sent bruce to my car and we packed the tent before driving off Changi Beach.
Time check: 2am
Next destination, Terminal 3. The carpark was freaking huge! After parking, woke Bruce up and we went for a mini excursion in Terminal 3. It was fully aesthetics man, a lot of design concepts put into place. Freaking nice! I wonder how much does all of that cost...
Time check: 3.30am
Next destination, East Coast Park Way battle btw Hazwan's' Aveo and my Vios. Went to ensure that the road was clear of parked vehicles and humps before we set up our race. Both cars turned on their hazard lights, side by side. Counted to 3 and off we went. I learned one trick from Hazwan on how to apply slamming the accelerator pedal of the car to make the auto gear shift up faster. I applied that method, but Hazwan won again.
Time check : 3.45am
Next event: Taxi bullying.
This is our setup. As the ECP has 3 lanes(lane 1,lane 2 and lane 3), we planned to hog a taxi. When we spot a taxi zoom past us, both cars sped up and went side by side with the taxi. The taxi was in the middle lane(lane 2). I went ahead of the taxi and stayed at the extreme right lane. Hazwan overtook the taxi and swerved the car from lane 1 to lane 2 and back to lane 1 while my car blocks lane 3. The taxi driver was super pissed off, he accelerated hard and managed to push his way out of our torture, lol. Good work, man!
Time check: 4am
Next event: Late supper/early breakfast
We headed down towards Zeenath muslim seafood restaurant at upper changi road to have our late supper/early breakfast. Slacked and crapped our way through. When we're done, we couldn't think of a nice place to slack. I had an idea.
Time check: 5.30am
Next event: Punggol Park
We went to Punggol park to look for a place to rest. Saw a lot of joggers too. So enthu sia, 5 plus in the morning jog already. While the other 4 dudes played at the fitness corner, I took the chance to have a short nap. We walked back to our cars when we were done.
Time check: 6am
Went to solat Subuh at Masjid Istiqamah before heading to Hafiz's house to pick him up.
DAY 2 - Chalet day
Time check: 6.45am
We went to NYP to have our morning shower and wash-up. Bruce was still happily sleeping in the car. We then set off to the country-style Macdonald's drive thru for our morning breakfast. Slacked and crapped as usual, Bruce happily being the butt of our jokes, lol!
Time check: 8am
After breakfast, both cars separated as Team Aveo sends Mas Ud home while Team Vios waits at Zuli's void deck. I parked the car, tried to call Zuli but she hasnt waken up yet. Me,Hafiz and Bruce slept in the car till Team Aveo called us.
Time check: 11am
Zuli in Hazwan's Aveo
Bothc teams reported at Atikah's house. Loaded the wet BBQ items into my car while the bags n belongings to Hazwan's car. We headed down to RK eating house at Serangoon Garden for our early lunch. As usual, I really pity Bruce up to this point. Super butt of our jokes. Hahaha..
Time check: 12.30pm
Team Vios + driver with a stupid face
We headed down to Bedok central led by Team Vios in search for packs of ice. This is where my first bad experience occured with female drivers. I found an empty parking lot and turned on my hazard lights. When I was about to move forward, an auntie in a black Nissan Sunny tried to worm her way into the lot, almost banging my front bumper! I horned repeatedly and she gave me that dun-care look and tried to reverse into my lot! Wtf man...I had no choice but to reverse slowly and give way to her. But I gave her a souvenir, MY MIDDLE FINGER. What a BITCH.
The others in the car cooled me down and we went for another round to find another parking lot. We managed to get one eventually and got the ice packs from Sheng Siong. Went out of the carpark and met up with Team Aveo which were waiting for us.
Time check: 1.30pm
Bruce at my wing mirror
Both cars headed down to our chalet at Island Resorts,East Coast.
On our way to east coast (notice my one-hand-driving,hehe)
Booked in and parked our cars and unloaded our stuffs into our new "home". Settled down before getting our home made BBQ pit from Onan Road, went to refuel my Vios before fetching Mas Ud from Macdonalds'.
Time check: 4pm
Commenced our BBQ which we thought was cancelled. Our intelligent ideas made it happen, ryte guys?! Heh.
Ate surprisingly a lot but I enjoyed it all. BBQ-ed till all the food was cooked and kept some for dinner.
Time check: 7.30pm
Woke wawan up from his nap and we( Me,Hazwan,Mas Ud,Siswand and Bruce) went for a swim in the swimming pool. Too many funny things happened there. We played like small kids! Somersaulting in the water, teaching siswand and hazwan how to swim, and the best part was pushing one another into the water. Bruce, yet again, bullied by me. I pushed him from the FRONT,he back stepped and back stepped and fell into the pool in a very funny manner. Everyone laughed like hell. Atikah and Zuli arrived and called us back for dinner.
Time check: 9pm
Went back to wash up and had our gang gathering dinner. Bruce became a joke of himself when he wore his towel on his head looking like a girl. Seriously cannot make it. Unless he goes to thailand lol. Me,hazwan and mas ud went up to sleep after dinner while the rest played PS2 and crapped downstairs.
Time check: 10.30pm
Bruce woke me up saying tt Mubarak wants to go home. I dragged downstairs in a sleepy mode, and went to the toilet to wash my face and headed to the carpark. Atikah and Zuli suddenly appeared and offered to acompany me, just in case I fell asleep along the way. Thanks a lot girls, love u two man.
Yeah,the two lovely housewives
After sending Mubarak home, went to refuel my car again at Esso.
Time check: 11.20pm
Reached chalet and dropped to sleep on the floor with the other guys, some playing cards, some fast asleep.
DAY 3 - FINALE...
Time check: 4am
Woke up only to find that my handphone was missing. Took siswand's phone and called mine. Atikah went down and returned me my phone n said "Tadi Zuli yang amik utk amik gambar ngan video..hahaha"
When i browsed my phone for pics n videos zuli took of us sleeping, i laughed like hell man. I suggested we go see Noraini at carpark F2 (she's overnighting with her family at east coast too but cldnt join us). So we (Me Hazwan Atikah Zuli Leonard and Siswand) Set off in both cars to carpark F2.
The road battle began again between me and hazwan.
Both cars checked clearance ahead, turned on signal lights, 3,2,1 and zoom! I won, finally. Speed check: 130km/hr. Reached the tentage area tt belongs to wani's family and talked n took pics with her for a while.
At Wani's "campsite" lol
Played a few rounds of Dai Di before driving back home. Raced again on the way back (addicted, cannot help it), and won again, but hazwan told me he spotted a hump n slowed down early.
To Hazwan. It doesnt matter whether I win by an inch or by a mile or by a HUMP, WINNING'S WINNING.
Time check: 5.45 am
I went back to sleep while the other guys woke up and played PS2 winning eleven till 10am wth! Hahaha...woke up to Siswand's loud voice cheering away as his team scores a goal. Hahaha...
Time check: 10am
All took turns to wash up n pack up their stuff. Some still playing PS2. I won Mas Ud in Need For Speed!
Time check: 11.30am
Hafiz's dad fetched Leonard and Wahyudin home first. The rest waited in the 2 cars while atikah and hazwan went to return the chalet key and deposit.
Time check: 12.15pm
Final destination: Finale lunch gathering at Cafeela Restaurant!
It rained heavily on the way there. At the hougang ave 3 exit towards TPE(SLE), both cars encountered a huge puddle, saw Hazwan's car plunge into the puddle n water splashed all over. I started to jam my brakes as my car plunged into the big puddle too, it skidded cos of the extreme aquaplaning but luckily i held on tight to the steering wheel. Reached Jalan Kayu and parked at the carpark. Ran into the restaurant to avoid the rain n began to order the food. Throughout the wait, we recollected our old times, how we managed to survive sec sch all that, it was a golden moment for us.
Time check: 2pm
After we're done with our lunch, both cars separated n hazwan sent the others (He,Atikah,Siswand,Bruce) home while I accompany Mas Ud to SSDC to book his BTT.
Time check: 4pm
HOME SWEET HOME :)
Super long entry huh, can't help it, entry of the year by me, hahahahaha XD
Next update will come real soon aite, That's all for now.
The reason why it's 2nd hand is simple, i'm gonna whack it.
The reason why it's auto n not manual, i'm lazy.
Got 4 wheels, engine, brakes, good enuff, hehe.
After collection, went to Arab St. for dinner and syisya with the Musibats. It was hard to find parking there, but finally found a deserted carpark. 10.30pm, dropped them off at Hougang before meeting Hussairi to get my coupons. Drove back home and now i'm gonna study for tml's test. Cya!
Common tests are coming fast. I really2 need to work hard and buck up my GPA by the end of this semester. How time flies, and 3rd year is coming real quick. Actually i don't know why i'm writing this entry, because it's not really planned. Not many events has happened so far, so dun expect this entry to be lengthy though.
Oh ya, I feel like changing my blog template. It's been so long since i changed to a new one. I've just edited Siti's template (hey, hope you like it uh)and my hands are itching to get a new template too!
Btw, to Shang Feng, dun be sad about ur FTT. Study hard,i'm sure u'll pass the next one, alright? Nvm i'll let u drive my Vios this friday.
Kick It 07 ended up bad. Our team lost to Midnight Masala on the 2nd round. I had to miss my team training because of this. Went to restring my Carbonex 8 at Hougang Sports hall and i can't wait to smash it tml!
