.No Petrol Hobby.

Clocked a total of 78 miles of cycling today. Fine-tuned my shifter alignments, oiled my chain, checked the brakes, tyre pressure, topped up my water bottle, and i'm good to go. Cycled to the bike shop first to install my halogen front lights. Bought 2 of them at $28 each. My route towards Downtown east : Hougang Ave 10--Ave 3--Defu Lane--Old Airport Road--Kaki Bukit Centre--Kaki Bukit Flyover--Bedok Reservoir Park--Tampines Road--Pass by Old Tampines road--Pass by TPE overpass bridge--Pasir Ris Drive--Pasir Ris Central--Downtown East =
Elapsed Mileage : 29 miles Elapsed time : 45 mins.

Had fish n chips at aunt's stall before heading back. Topped up my water bottle with 100 plus and headed back to Pasir Ris Drive. Decided to take the infamous short-cut; Old Tampines Road. Blasted my mp3 music and chionged through the whole stretch of eerie road, oblivious to the 'scenery' around me (just trees and trees and trees with low-lying network of branches with moss growing down, almost touching the grass, forming 'curtains'). Thank God there were a few cars that passed by,gave me a sense of company as I sped pass at an average speed of 24mph (sorry my cyclometer is US made, by default it reads in MPH,so do ur own maths in KPH). Reached the KPE junction and headed for Hougang Ave 3. Washed up and prayed at En-Naeem and cycled home. Miss GF called me while I was locking the bike outside my house.
Elapsed Mileage : 51 miles Elapsed time : 77 mins

Took a short bath, tried to call Miss GF,but she already went asleep and surfed the net for famous makan places after midnight. Believe it or not,I went out again. At 1.30am, prepared the essentials and headed for Jalan Kayu. Went a big round via Punggol Pri--Punggol Park--Opposite Church--Sengkang Sec--Rivervale Crescent--Punggol Flyover--Edgefield Plains--Edgedale Plains--Punggol Central--Punggol East--Punggol Bus Terminal--Back to Punggol East--Bridge to Rivervale Drive--Compassvale Sec--Compassvale Pri--Compass Point--Sengkang Police Post--Anchorvale Drive--Sengkang Sports Complex--LRT Control Station--Fernvale--Pei Hwa Sec--JALAN KAYU!
Elapsed Mileage : 63 Miles Elapsed time : 135 minutes

Found nothing nice to eat there,so decided to cycle blindly home, without any plans laid out. So I cycled this route back: Jalan Kayu--Seletar Camp--U-turn towards Jalan Kayu--Pass by TPE bridge--Yio Chu Kang Road--Ang Mo Kio Ave 5--ITE AMK--Nanyang Polytechnic--AMK MRT--AMK Police Division Headquarters--CTE Bridge--Serangoon North--Istiqamah Mosque--Bowen Sec--Xinmin Sec--Hougang Ave 8 and I finally couldnt take it anymore; I was damn HUNGRY. Stopped by Al-Falah and had my well deserved bee-hoon soup and teh-o-limau-ais-kurang-gula. Grabbed a Starbucks Mocha Frappe from 7-eleven and HOME SWEET HOME!
Elapsed Mileage: 78 Miles Elapsed time : 201 minutes

Total money spent : $60 (halogen lights+supper;aunt's fishnchips+100plus were FREE =P )
