17 November 2007 is MY day. Want a recount of what happened?
7am - Woke up, had breakfast, had final advice from parents n received many well wished from friends.
9am - Stepped down bus 87 and walked towards CDDC to meet my instructor,Mr Yatim, for one final warm-up run before the big test. I was glad it went well.
10am - Mr Yatim briefed me about the test procedures, what is expected to do, and what's not.
10.05am - Went into the TP room where all the test candidates met the chief tester for the final briefing. Time to ballot for our tester and test route. I got route 5 and my tester was Mr Lim Eng Kiak.
10.15am - Mr Lim called up my name and I showed him the way to the car I was going to be tested in. He slotted in the "L - On Test" plate on the front n back brackets of the car before sitting in the passenger seat. I checked the mirrors n wore my seatbelt. As I started the engine, the tester briefed me again, and the test began.
Circuit:
Slope
Directional Change
Vertical Parking
Parallel Parking
Crank Course
'S' Course
He didn't test my E-Brake, i think he forgot, haha
On-Road:
I'd count myself really lucky to be given route 5. It's the shortest test route in CDDC. I completed it within 10 minutes. Drove back to the driving ctre, parked the car and followed him to the Testers' Office.
I was stunned when he took out my test sheet, it was completely blank. He started marking only when we entered the room.
He marked and signed the paper before handing it back to me.

Syukur Alhamdulilah, I passed with 4 demerit pts.
Went to tell the good news to everyone after that. After watching the road safety video n collecting my license, bought my P plates, slotted them in the dashboard of the car and told Hazwan, " Dude, i'm gonna drive this to Ang Mo Kio." So we drove to AMK for lunch and pool. I drove again to NYP to meet the SCL gang before driving the car back home. Finally no more worries about illegal driving. Heh.
Thanks to all who wished me all the best.
Thanks to Haz for accompanying me for my TP.
Thanks to Mr Yatim for guiding me throughout these 5 mths.
Thanks all.
And I'm happy.
