This is gonna be a very short post. Gonna start off with PAddlez @ Marina Bay. Last Friday, went for Friday prayers at Istiq. met up with Hafiz and Wahyudin. Played pool with them at amk funland. Won Wahyudin by 5 balls. Suddenly my pool skills got so good, why do I play better when i'm not in the mood? Haha, shldn't be it the other way round? After that went to school for lunch. Went to watch Bruce Almighty at the library cos we were damn bored there. Hafiz and his friends decided to back out from the event, so I waited for Helmi to come and went with him to join the other kayakers. We got delayed in school because the bus had an accident in NYP carpark. At abt 7pm we set off to PA water venture Pasir Ris for mass briefing with the other kayakers from RJC and Pasir Ris Sec. After the briefing, went back to NYP for supper and lights out. Helmi and I didnt sleep the whole night. We went out of school from 11 plus to 1 plus, came back and slacked with the other kayakers till 3 plus and then listened to songs on my hp till 4 plus and it was time to wash up and get redy. All of us went to The Oasis, reached there at 6.20am. Waited for the sec sch students to arrive and took our gear and set off to Kallang Basin for the final rehearsal. We will have to paddle from The Oasis, make a detour along Kallang Basin (construction works) all the way to Benjamin Sheares' Bridge, into Marina Bay and finally raft up near the floatimng platform to wait for the arrival of the President. The more experienced kayakers (NYP and RJC) will be in the back cockpit while the sec school students will be in front, holding the aft together. The first air-horn: Back paddlers get ready paddles on left side of kayak. 2nd horn: Paddles up, right hand across forehead, bow the paddle with your upper body to the front. 3rd horn: Back up, paddle upright. 4th horn: Right hands beat the sides of the kayak to make noise. Final horn: Everyone shouts "It's all about YOUTHS!". After that, we all kayaked back to the Oasis and returned the kayaks and equipments. It then rained HEAVILY. So heavily that Helmi and I had a miscomunication with one of the buses and we took the wrong bus back to Pasir Ris flat chalets. We then took a cab back to NYP and packed our stuff and went home.

Reached home at 1.45. Tired like hell, but I still have one activity for the day: FIREWORKS!

Quickly charged my phone because it went flat before 6am due to listening songs (Helmi's fault la). Washed up and changed up to my semi-formal attire and went to meet my 5N peeps at Hougang Interchange. Yana cut her hair short. Yup, dah menjadi seh Miss Chatterbox. I buy u the tshirt then u wear with that shot hair. Confirm swee ah! Huda was with Yana while waiting for me and Shalihin. Huda next time I wear body armour sia, fuyo ytd kena punch until no mercy seh. Dah lama tak kenakan orang kan, apa nak buat. When Shalihin arrived, we took 80 to Bugis and walked to Taman Warisan. Went for this comedy, Korporat Ayam, quite boring at first but it got damn funny till the end, then we set off to Marina Square after meeting Hafiz, looking for a good place to eat. Wanted to go Pizza Hut but dunno what happened, we went straight to Esplanade after meeting Maya and took pics there. When it was around 8pm, huge crowds of people began to pour in and the area around Esplanade had to be cordoned off. We got stuck under the bridge but we cldnt get a nice view from there. So we had to squeeze our way through the huge crowd and went back to the big steps area of Marina Square. Reached there exctly at 9pm but the fireworks only start at 9.30pm. Luckily we got to see most of the fireworks as it has a nice view from Marina Square. I perspired like crazy there, it was like a sauna! I dun mind though, can lose weight. Stood on the concrete railing together with Yana and Maya to take video and some pics. After about 15 mins, the fireworks ended and we went into Marina Square to decide on where to have dinner. Ate at this chinese muslim coffeeshop, I admit I was damn hungry, haha, ordered sliced fish soup with rice for myself. Strangely after only a few spoonfuls I was full. Hafiz was even hungrier! He helped me finish up my rice together with all the chilli padi we put into the rice. Haha. After that it was already 11 plus and we had to go home. Took 80 from Bugis. On the way, those 3 girls still got energy to take photos. Wah seh..i was half asleep most of the time in the bus. Hafiz got off first, followed by Huda, then me + Yana + Lihin, lastly Maya. Thanks eh Yana for pressing the bell late, nag summore la then have to walk further..we missed our stop actually..hahaha...Lihin walked with us till the basketball court and turned back home...i then sent yana home. When I reached, thought of just going straight to sleep. I went out for a short jog behind my house then went online for a while..after sending some photos and replying mails...I knocked out..
